WOSFL Second Division Transfer Roundup

t’s been a summer of rebuilding and reshuffling in the WOSFL Second Division, with many clubs bringing in fresh faces to boost their ambitions for promotion—or survival—in the season ahead.

🟠 Maybole

In: Jack McDowall arrives from Irvine Meadow to bolster the squad.
Out: Ross McCrea joins Craigmark Burtonians, while Scott Granger moves to Kirkintilloch Rob Roy.

🔵 Blantyre Victoria

In: A busy window sees several new additions including John Cunningham (Vale of Clyde), Kieran Daw (St Roch’s), and forward Johnny Hogg.
Out: Goalkeeper Harry Kent moves to Largs, Kyle McGill joins Royal Albert, and young Ewan McLew transfers to Lanark United.

⚫ Ashfield

In: Major rebuild with 14 new faces including experienced forward Liam Coogans, Ger Stevenson, and Aeron Fitzpatrick (Clydebank). Louis Robertson (Kilsyth Ath) and Euan Bonham (Yoker) also join.
Out: Craig Forbes moves to Petershill, while others such as Luke Martin and Aaron Chaudhry head to Kilsyth and Renfrew respectively.

🔴 Larkhall Thistle

In: Reinforcements include Stevie Graham from Kelty Hearts and Jack Currie (Bellshill).
Out: Ryan Carlin has departed to Rutherglen Glencairn.

⚪ Kilsyth Rangers

Out: Lost several players to Caley Locos, including Kevin Lleshi, Ben Bradshaw, and Alex Chatterton. Jack Walsh also made the switch to Pollok.

⚫ Bonnyton Thistle

In: Plenty of new signings including defender Kyle Brydon (Lugar), Aiden McGee (Darvel), and keeper duo Dylan Caddis and Max Halliday.
Out: Eight players leave following contract expirations, including former GK Ross Higgins and attacker Jordan Ryan (Craigmark).

🔴 Maryhill

In: New faces include Andrew Skinner (Irvine Meadow), Cammy Armstrong (Thorn Athletic), and Nathan Marriott (Yoker).
Out: Several regulars move on including Shaun Roberts (Cambuslang Rangers) and Richie McGregor (Irvine Vics).

🟡 Bellshill Athletic

In: Brought in Jack McArthur (Caley Braves), Andy Duffy (Shotts), and Graham Gracie (Lanark).
Out: Jack Currie left for Larkhall and Jamie McLelland went out on loan to Royal Albert.

🟢 Lesmahagow Juniors

In: A recruitment drive sees over 10 new players including Jamie Dodsworth and Lewis Meikle from Lanark, plus Jack Harrison from Cumbernauld.
Out: Lost defender Kiaran McGuire to Shotts and Ross Marchant to Thorniewood.

⚙️ Caledonian Locomotive

In: Brought in half a dozen new faces including goalkeeper Reakan Maliska (Greenock), Aiden Fellowes (St Cadocs), and multiple Kilsyth Rangers players.
Out: Jamie McMinigal leaves for Vale of Clyde and Aiden Shields joins Rutherglen.

⚫ Forth Wanderers

In: Ross Hamilton (Rob Roy) and Dillon McLaughlan (Cumbernauld) are among several new additions.
Out: A mix of retirements, loans ending, and transfers out. Blair Hill moves to St Roch’s and Kyle Caig to Irvine Meadow.

🔵 Cambuslang Rangers

In: Additions include Shaun Roberts and Darren Jarvis (both Maryhill) and Kyle Stewart (Lesmahagow).
Out: Aaron McNeil departs to Lesmahagow.

🟠 Thorn Athletic

In: A solid trio joins: Sean Daly (Glenvale), Matthew McLardie, and Daryl Airdrie (Muirkirk).
Out: Cammy Armstrong departs for Maryhill, while Jamie Millar heads to St Peters BC.
