Red Fox Inn prepare for busy 2025/26 pool season

Bishopton’s Red Fox Inn are gearing up for a packed 2025/26 Paisley Burgh Pool League campaign, with their season opener set for Thursday 14th August at home to Lorimers.

The team will quickly get into the thick of the action with an away trip to Houston’s C a week later, before returning home on 28th August to face Olde House Inn.

Alongside the league, Red Fox Inn will be competing in multiple cup competitions, starting with a George Smith League Cup first-round tie away to Patter Bar B on 4th September. Division Cup fixtures will also feature later in the year.

The fixture list promises plenty of high-profile clashes, including a run of big games in October against Killoch Bar B, Houston’s D, and Horseshoe B. The team will close out the league season in June 2026 with matches against # Bar B, The Rest, and Burns Howff before potentially heading into cup finals in July.

Captain and players alike will be aiming to improve on last season’s form and make a strong showing in both league and cup competitions. With a mix of home comforts at Bishopton and tricky away days on the road, Red Fox Inn supporters are in for an exciting season of competitive pool.
