Teen defender Innes Clark enjoys remarkable week of cup success
It’s been an unforgettable week for 16-year-old defender Innes Clark, who played a part in three cup victories in just seven days.
On loan at Benburb, Clark helped his side progress past St Roch’s in the Scottish Junior Cup on Saturday before returning to St Mirren duties to captain the U18s to a memorable win over Celtic in the Scottish Youth Cup on Tuesday night.
The young defender rounded off a whirlwind spell in style at the weekend, holding his nerve to score in a sudden-death shootout away to Wick Academy in the Scottish Cup.
