Noah Young leaves Johnstone Burgh to join Irvine Meadow XI

Johnstone Burgh midfielder Noah Young has completed a move to Irvine Meadow XI on a permanent deal.

The 21-year-old, who joined Burgh last season, came through the Greenock Morton Academy and gained senior experience with Glenvale, Maryhill, and Benburb before linking up at Keanie Park.

A technically gifted and intelligent player, Young is known for his balance, vision, and composure on the ball, as well as his quality from set pieces.

He now reunites with manager Jamie McKim, a coach he knows well and holds in high regard, as he looks to continue his development in a positive and ambitious environment.

Johnstone Burgh thanked Young for his contribution and efforts at the club and wished him well in his new venture.

Irvine Meadow welcomed him, saying they were delighted to add a player with “huge potential and a real desire to push himself” to their squad.
