Scottish Premiership squad values updated as Celtic remain top of the table
The latest Scottish Premiership market value update has landed and it brings a fresh look at how each club’s squad is valued heading into the second half of the campaign.
The new figures, compiled by Transfermarkt.co.uk, show Celtic still possess the most valuable squad in the league at €126.5 million, despite a 4.6% drop following the latest review.
Rangers remain second, though their overall squad value has fallen sharply by 10%, now sitting at €94 million.
St Mirren’s squad value is on the rise after the latest Transfermarkt update — now sitting at €7.5m (around £6.4m), up more than 5%. Another steady jump that reflects the impact of a well-balanced team and smart recruitment in Paisley.
Hearts are one of the biggest climbers this window, rising 11.9% to a total value of €21 million, strengthening their position as the league’s third-most valuable squad.
Aberdeen and Hibernian both show slight decreases, while Dundee United remain steady on €10.4 million. Motherwell, Kilmarnock and St Mirren all record modest increases, reflecting improved individual performances and rising player profiles.
At the lower end of the table, Livingston drop 1.6%, while Falkirk — newly promoted and continuing to surprise observers — enjoy the largest percentage rise of the update at 16.2%, taking their squad to €4.9 million.
