Pollok sign defender Lewis Duffy on loan from Bo’ness United

Pollok have strengthened their squad with the loan signing of centre-back Lewis Duffy from Bo’ness United.

The 25-year-old joins the Newlandsfield side until the end of January and goes straight into the matchday squad for today’s clash with Troon.

Duffy arrived at Bo’ness in 2024 after four seasons with Lowland League rivals Civil Service Strollers. His addition gives Pollok extra depth in defence as they look to build momentum in the campaign.

A Pollok spokesperson said they were “delighted to have Lewis on board” and thanked Bo’ness United for their cooperation in getting the deal completed quickly.

Bo’ness United also acknowledged the move on social media, adding: “Lewis Duffy on loan to our good friends at Pollok.”
