World Cup 2026: Where to watch Scotland’s group games on TV

Fans now know exactly where to tune in for Scotland’s group-stage fixtures at the 2026 World Cup, with the national team’s matches split between the BBC and ITV in the early hours of UK time.

Scotland’s opener against Haiti will be shown live on BBC at 2am on 14 June. The second group match, a huge clash with Morocco, will be broadcast on ITV at 11pm on 19 June. Steve Clarke’s side round off the group in a headline late-night double-header on BBC, with Scotland v Brazil kicking off at 11pm on 24 June, shown alongside Morocco v Haiti.

The late kick-off times will test the stamina of Tartan Army fans, but at least the remote control choices are simple: BBC–ITV–BBC across the three games.

England’s schedule is a little more traditional, with both matches so far picked up by different broadcasters. Gareth Southgate’s team begin their campaign on ITV, with England v Croatia at 9pm on 17 June. Their second group match, England v Ghana, switches to BBC at 9pm on 23 June, before their final match — England v Panama — returns to ITV at 10pm on 27 June.

The full tournament sees both BBC and ITV sharing games throughout June, broadcasting from the US, Canada and Mexico across a marathon slate of overnight kick-offs.
