Renfrew booked their place in the next round of the Scottish Communities Cup with a 2-1 win away to Arthurlie.
Kieran Healy opened the scoring before half time with a well-timed back post header, and Aiden Malcolm doubled the lead shortly after the restart with a free kick that proved decisive on the day.
Arthurlie pulled one back late on through captain Michael MacNeil, but Renfrew managed the closing stages well and saw out the tie with composure.
A Renfrew spokesperson said: “It was a proper cup tie and we took our chances at the right times. The boys showed a lot of character.”
