St Mirren started the game at a fast pace and had the better of the chances during the first 45 half but again couldn't find the back of the net.
The second half was very much like the first 45 minutes with Hibs failing to have a shot on target during the whole match.
At the other end St Mirren had a few chances and should have won the game but for a great double save from the keeper Jordan Smith saving first from Toyosi Olusanya and then from Mark O'Hara. Hibs were reduced to 10 men, when Alasana Menneh who came on in the 70th minute was booked in the 71st minute and again in the 84th minute was sent off.
As the game progressed it looked like it would finish 0-0 and that was the full time score. The result sees Hibs sitting 5th in the league one place above St Mirren who move back into the top six.
