Largs Thistle enjoyed a dominant afternoon at Barrfields as they put five past Glenafton Athletic to continue their strong run in the West Premier Division.
Lewis Davidson opened the scoring after 16 minutes with a composed finish, before Liam Lapsley doubled the lead on the half-hour mark. Largs controlled most of the first half and went in 2–0 ahead at the break.
Jamie Martin added a third early in the second half, and Davidson then made it 4–0 with his second goal of the day. Glenafton briefly fought back through McDermott, who finished well on 61 minutes, but any hope of a comeback was short-lived.
An own goal made it 5–1 to Largs on 75 minutes, and Creag Little almost added a spectacular sixth when he struck the crossbar late on. Largs saw out the game comfortably to secure three deserved points.
